Your Treatment

BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.

SHARING KNOWLEDGE
Communication is key. I need to know what you are feeling, experiencing and what you are looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.

HELPING YOU FEEL BETTER
Masage is a tool to help heal. Whether it is stress, injury or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.

Deep Tissue Massage is a slower, more specific massage technique which feels deeper. It is used to relieve pressure and tension throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for anyone, from athletes to those who sit for long periods of time.

The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension in a generally relaxing speed and pressure.

Cupping is used to alleviate scar tissue, fascial and myofascial restrictions, as well as muscle pain. It regulates and improves function of the autonomic nervous system. Systemically, cupping improves blood flow and relieves lymphatic stagnation.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a technique which is designed to increase the movement and drainage of lymphatic and interstitial fluid.

Some of the conditions that MLD could benefit include:

Concussion

Cancer Rehabilitation

Migraines/Headaches

Whiplash

Lymphedema

Pregnancy

Acute Injuries

This technique is not suited for persons with kidney conditions.

Orthopedic massage is a type of injury rehabilitation that focuses on the muscles and soft tissues surrounding joints. The aim of this method is to relieve pain while restoring balance to the tissues and rehabilitating to full function.

Pelvic health massage is targeted at the pelvic floor muscles, ligaments and connective tissues, all of which work together to support the pelvic organs. As massage therapists cannot access internal muscles, we focus on all muscles surrounding and inserting to the pelvic bones. This can be in conjunction with Pelvic Health Physiotherapy or as a stand alone treatment. Some of the conditions associated with Pelvic Health include:

Pregnancy  (During and Post)

Low back pain

Sciatica

Athletic leg pain

Pain with urination and/or defecation

TENS

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation uses electrical pulses to interrupt the pain signals to the brain to relieve pain in muscles and joints.

Interferential Current Therapy is used to promote tissue healing, relieve pain and muscle spasm, decrease swelling, improve circulation and nerve stimulation.

Therapeutic Ultrasound

The use of sound waves to penetrate and target specific tissues for the treatment of soft tissue injury, joint dysfunction and pain. Ultrasound can positively affect bone repair, decreasing pain, muscle spasm and adhesions, as well increase tissue healing and range of motion.
